For spring break this year we took our 3 kids to Kauai and while the weather wasn't so great, we had a great time anyway. The beaches are beautiful of course, but the inland activities and tours are also a lot of fun. We chose the 7 step zip line tree top tour, which means there are seven landing spots to "zip" between - the longest zip being about 800 feet!
It was a great activity to do with our kids - ages 11, 13 and 16, and one they refer to as their favorite memory of the vacation. We stayed in Princeville at the Bali Hai and trekked
between the caves at the far north end of the island to the dock where Captain Andy's pontoon boat took us for a wave bouncing tour up the Napali coastline, so we saw the whole island - from the perimeter anyway.
It was a great way to spend spring break with the kids and we would highly recommend it.
